Two cousins, two sides of the world, one problem worth solving
Deployed AI started with Poyan Karimi and Mark Faridani. One spent 15 years building companies in Sweden and the UK, the other a decade building machine learning in Silicon Valley. Together we get AI into companies, for real.
How Deployed started
We’re cousins, and we’ve been friends since we were kids. Then our careers took us to opposite sides of the world.
Poyan stayed in business: fifteen years of building companies, Oddwork and Life Inside among them, and the King’s Young Pioneer of the Year award in 2021. Mark went deep into machine learning: a PhD from UC Berkeley, research at Microsoft, then nearly ten years at Apple leading teams whose work shipped in Photos, Apple Pay, Maps and Apple Intelligence.
When the models got really good, our conversations changed. Less about what AI can do in Silicon Valley, more about what it means for an ordinary company with a sales team, a finance team and customers to look after. How does that company get real leverage from it, on a normal Monday?
So we started where the need was: training teams and helping companies become AI-native. That’s where we saw the real problem. People learn fast. The hard part is getting AI into an organisation in a structured way: who connects what, with whose access, under which rules, and who can see what happened.
“You know this technology better than anyone I know. You have to be able to solve this, because every company we meet has the problem.”
Mark built a product. The first time Poyan used it, it blew him away. This is what AI at work should look like.
With the rest of our founding team behind us, we ran it in our own companies first. After that it was obvious: this has to get out. To get AI to people for real, in companies of every size, and not least in Europe, which has fallen behind. That product is Deployed OS.
Two ways to work with us
We work with everything from growing teams to large organisations.
One MCP for the whole company
Your skills, systems and guardrails in one connector, so every employee’s AI works your way in Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot.
See how it worksHands-on with your team
We train people on their own work, build the first projects with you and stay until AI is part of how you work.
See AdvisoryThe people behind it
The founders, and the advisors who bring experience from global manufacturing, Capgemini and other large organisations.

Poyan co-founded Oddwork and Life Inside, and was an early investor in Winningtemp. In 2021 he received H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf's Young Pioneer of the Year award. He came to Deployed having already deployed AI across his own companies, knowing firsthand what breaks, what sticks, and what it actually takes to change how a team works.

Mark is a machine learning scientist with a PhD in Operations Research from UC Berkeley, specialising in machine learning, and an MS in Computer Science from Berkeley. He spent nearly a decade at Apple as a machine learning engineering manager, whose teams contributed to on-device image recognition in Photos and Memories, Apple Pay, Apple Maps and Apple Intelligence, after starting out as an applied researcher at Microsoft. A Claude Certified Architect, based in San Francisco, he is Deployed's presence in Silicon Valley.

Rozbeh leads digital capabilities and AI adoption for a global manufacturing and logistics organisation, with a background in enterprise transformation at Capgemini. He helps leadership move from scattered AI experiments to coordinated, scalable execution, so adoption goes beyond pilots and becomes part of how the organisation actually works. His advice is practical and hands-on, grounded in what works inside large manufacturing and industrial organisations rather than in theory.

With deep experience from inside large, complex organisations, Behrang operates at the intersection of strategy, operations, and data. He helps leadership move from system-centric views to a shared, business-driven understanding of how companies actually operate, so decisions rest on consistent facts and AI initiatives can scale with confidence.
Stockholm, Gothenburg, London, San Francisco
Between us we cover four cities and very different experience: building and running companies, machine learning at Apple, AI adoption in global manufacturing, enterprise transformation at Capgemini, and operations and data in large organisations. That mix is the point. Getting AI into a company is as much about how people work as about technology.
