Monitor ERP MCP: connect Monitor ERP to Claude and ChatGPT

Ask Claude or ChatGPT which customer orders are late, where a manufacturing order stands or how many of a part you have in stock. The answer comes straight from Monitor ERP, without a report or a phone call to the planner.

We build the connector for your company on Monitor’s own API. Each person signs in with their own Monitor user, so the AI sees exactly what that person may see in Monitor, and it only reads.

In practice

What your team can do with Monitor ERP in Claude and ChatGPT

Sales and customer service

Answer the customer on the spot

Where is the order, what is left to deliver and when. The customer order with its rows, read from Monitor while the customer is still on the line.
Production planning

The day’s orders in one answer

Manufacturing orders with their operations and materials, which ones are behind and what is missing. A summary before the morning meeting instead of a printout.
Purchasing

What is coming in

Purchase orders and supplier invoices for a part or a supplier, summarised the way you ask for it.
Management

The order book without a report

Customer orders by customer, week or status, compared the way you ask. No export to Excel first.
Examples

Ask it like this

  • “Which customer orders for Nordvik Bygg are not fully delivered, and what is left?”

  • “Where does manufacturing order 24-1187 stand, and which operations remain?”

  • “How many of part 10-4420 do we have in stock?”

  • “Which manufacturing orders are due this week and behind schedule?”

  • “Summarise our open purchase orders from Holmberg Stål.”

  • “What has Erikssons Mekaniska ordered from us this year?”

The connector

What we build for Monitor ERP

Deployed OS has no ready Monitor ERP connector yet. We build it for your company when you start, on Monitor ERP’s own API, with the same rules as every other connector: each person’s own login, access decided by group, every call logged.

Customers and customer orders
Customers, and customer orders with their rows, delivery dates and status.
Manufacturing orders
Manufacturing orders with their operations and materials, so the AI can say what is done and what is left.
Parts and stock
Parts with their stock levels and details.
Purchasing
Purchase orders and supplier invoices for purchased parts.
Security

Who sees what

Read-only
The connector reads. It does not create orders, change a manufacturing order or report time. Reading through Monitor’s API is included for every Monitor customer; writing would need Monitor’s API add-on.
Each person’s own Monitor user
Everyone signs in as their own Monitor user, from version 25.8 with your company’s Microsoft account. Monitor checks every call against that user’s permissions, so someone who cannot see prices in Monitor does not see them through the AI either.
Your company decides who gets it
Admins choose which groups get Monitor ERP in Deployed OS. A group without access never sees the connector.
Every call logged
Who asked, what was read and when. Deployed OS keeps the log, and it can be exported.
Setup

Set up the Monitor ERP connector in three steps

01
We go through which questions matter most with you and build the connector on Monitor’s API, for your Monitor version.
02
Your Monitor administrator sets which users may sign in through the API, with Microsoft sign-in from version 25.8, and you choose which groups get Monitor ERP in Deployed OS.
03
Each person connects with their own Monitor user. From then on they just ask.
Questions

Monitor ERP MCP: common questions

Not as far as we know. Monitor has its own AI assistant, MAiA, inside the Monitor web client, and a documented API. We build the MCP connector on that API, so the answers can be used in Claude and ChatGPT next to your other systems.

No. The connector reads customer orders, manufacturing orders, parts and purchasing. Writing through Monitor’s API needs Monitor’s own API add-on, and we only build it if you ask for it.

Yes. Everyone signs in as their own Monitor user, and Monitor checks every call against that user’s permissions. The AI cannot see more than the person could in Monitor.

Sign-in with your company’s Microsoft account through the API needs Monitor 25.8 or later. On earlier versions people sign in with their Monitor username and password instead.

Deployed is an EU company and fully GDPR compliant, and you choose where your data is stored, down to the city. Monitor data is fetched when someone asks for it.

It depends on the size of your team. Get in touch and we will walk you through it.
