Simplicate MCP: connect Simplicate to Claude and ChatGPT

Ask Claude or ChatGPT how many hours are left on a project budget, which quotes are still open or what you invoiced a client this year. The answer comes straight from Simplicate, without opening three screens or building a report.

Simplicate has its own MCP server. We set Simplicate up in Deployed OS next to your other systems, and build what your agency needs on top of it, with each person’s own Simplicate rights, access per group and one log.

In practice

What your team can do with Simplicate in Claude and ChatGPT

Project management

Budget against hours

Hours written on a project against its budget, per service and per person, so you see the overrun before the client does.
Account management and sales

The client before the meeting

The organisation, its contacts, open sales opportunities and recent timeline messages from Simplicate, in one answer before you walk in.
Finance

What is invoiced and what is not

Invoices per client or project, which ones are still open, and which hours are ready to invoice.
Studio and agency leads

Who is busy and who has room

Hours per person or team for a week or a month, so planning starts from what was actually written.
Examples

Ask it like this

  • “How many hours are left on the budget for the Studio Noordlicht website project?”

  • “Which sales opportunities for De Vries Communicatie are still open?”

  • “What have we invoiced Bureau Hendriks this year, and what is still unpaid?”

  • “Summarise the last timeline messages for Rijnmond Zorggroep before my call.”

  • “Who in the design team wrote fewer than 30 hours last week?”

  • “Which projects are over budget this month?”

The connector

What we build for Simplicate

Deployed OS has no ready Simplicate connector yet. We build it for your company when you start, on Simplicate’s own API, with the same rules as every other connector: each person’s own login, access decided by group, every call logged.

Relations
Organisations and contacts with their details and recent timeline messages.
Sales
Sales opportunities and quotes with their status.
Projects and services
Projects with their services, budgets and status.
Hours
Hours written per project, service and person, read-only unless you ask for hour registration.
Invoices
Invoices per client or project, and which are still open.
Security

Who sees what

Read-only by default
The connector reads. Registering hours or adding a note to a relation’s timeline is possible through Simplicate, and we switch it on only if your company asks for it.
Each person’s own Simplicate rights
Every Simplicate API key belongs to one Simplicate user and follows that user’s module rights. Each person connects with their own, so someone without access to HRM or invoices in Simplicate does not get it through the AI either.
Your company decides who gets it
Admins choose which groups get Simplicate in Deployed OS. A group without access never sees the connector.
Every call logged
Who asked, what was read and when. Deployed OS keeps the log, and it can be exported.
Setup

Set up the Simplicate connector in three steps

01
We go through which questions matter most with you and decide whether to build on Simplicate’s MCP server, its API, or both.
02
You choose which groups get Simplicate in Deployed OS, and whether anyone may register hours or add timeline notes.
03
Each person connects with their own Simplicate user. From then on they just ask.
Compared

Simplicate’s own MCP server or Deployed OS?

Simplicate has its own MCP server. You add one address in ChatGPT, Claude or Microsoft Copilot and sign in with your Simplicate account, and it works with the same permissions you have in Simplicate. You can ask about relations, sales opportunities and projects, register hours and add a conversation summary to a relation’s timeline. For one person who wants Simplicate in their own AI tool, it is a good fit.

Deployed OS is for when Simplicate is one system among several across the company. It sits next to your email, files and finance system in one company connection, admins decide which groups get it and whether they may write, every call is logged in one place, and the same rules apply in Claude and ChatGPT, next to your company’s skills and guardrails. We can also add tools for your own way of working, such as reports on your budget rules.

Questions

Simplicate MCP: common questions

Yes. Simplicate has its own MCP server for ChatGPT, Claude and Microsoft Copilot, and it works with the permissions of the person who signs in. Deployed OS adds Simplicate to one company connection with your other systems, with access per group, one log and tools built for your agency.

Not unless you want it to. The connector reads by default. Simplicate supports registering hours and adding timeline notes, and we switch those on only for the groups you choose.

Yes. Every Simplicate API key is linked to one Simplicate user and follows that user’s rights. Each person connects with their own, so the AI cannot see more than the person could in Simplicate.

Yes. A Simplicate API key has an end date that is set when it is created and cannot be changed afterwards. We agree with you how keys are renewed, so nobody loses access by surprise.

Deployed is an EU company and fully GDPR compliant, and you choose where your data is stored, down to the city. Simplicate data is fetched when someone asks for it.

It depends on the size of your team. Get in touch and we will walk you through it.
