Typeform MCP: connect Typeform to Claude and ChatGPT

Ask Claude or ChatGPT what customers said in last month’s NPS survey, how many signed up for the webinar or which answers mention delivery times. The answer comes straight from Typeform, each answer next to its question. No CSV export, no pivot table.

With Deployed OS everyone connects with their own Typeform login. The AI reads the forms and responses that person can see, and nothing in Typeform is created, changed or deleted.

What your team can do with Typeform in Claude and ChatGPT

Customer success

Read the survey, not the spreadsheet

Summarise 300 NPS responses by theme and pull out the quotes worth sharing, with each answer next to its question.
Marketing

Webinar sign-ups at a glance

HR

Pulse surveys in plain words

What the team answered in the quarterly pulse survey, grouped by theme. Only for the people who can open that form in Typeform.
Product

Feedback that reaches the roadmap

Search the feature request form for answers that mention exports or integrations, summarised for the planning meeting.
Examples

Ask it like this

  • “Summarise the responses to our Customer NPS form from the last 30 days. What are the three most common complaints?”

  • “How many people registered for the 14 October webinar, and which companies are they from?”

  • “Find the answers in the Product feedback form that mention Excel export.”

  • “What does the Onboarding survey ask, and which questions are required?”

  • “List the forms in the HR workspace, most recently changed first.”

  • “How many people started the Quote request form this week without finishing it?”

The connector

What the Typeform MCP connector does today

  • Readstypeform_list_forms

List the forms you can see, most recently changed first, by words in the title or by workspace, with whether each is public and its link.

  • Readstypeform_get_form

Read one form’s questions in order, with each question’s type, whether it is required and its choices, plus the hidden fields.

  • Readstypeform_list_responses

List a form’s responses, newest first, up to 100 at a time, each answer next to its question; partial ones on request, and the last half hour may be missing.

  • Readstypeform_list_workspaces

List the workspaces you can see, optionally by name, with how many forms each holds.

Security

Who sees what

Read-only
The connector reads workspaces, forms, questions and responses. It cannot create, change or delete a form or a response in Typeform.
Each person’s own rights
Everyone connects their own Typeform login, so the AI sees the forms that person sees. A form in a workspace you cannot open stays out of reach through the AI too.
You choose who gets it
Admins decide which groups at the company can use the Typeform connector at all. Everyone else never sees it.
Every call logged
Who asked, which connector, when. Deployed OS shows reads per connector and per person, and the log can be exported.
Setup

Set up the Typeform connector in three steps

01
An admin registers an app in Typeform’s admin under the organisation menu → Developer Apps. Your company owns the app, not us.
02
The admin adds its Client ID and secret to Deployed OS, enters the data centre if your Typeform account is hosted in the EU, and chooses which groups get Typeform.
03
Each person connects with their own Typeform login and approves read access. From then on they just ask.
Compared

Typeform’s own MCP server or Deployed OS?

Typeform publishes its own MCP server. It is hosted by Typeform and still in beta: it reads forms and works with Typeform Contacts. For one person asking about their own forms, it is a quick way to start.

Deployed OS is built for the whole company. One Typeform app that your company owns, each person’s own login, admins choosing which groups get what, and a log of every call. The same connection works in Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot, next to your other tools and your company’s skills and guardrails.

Questions

Typeform MCP: common questions

Yes. Typeform has its own MCP server, in beta, that reads forms and works with Typeform Contacts. Deployed OS gives the whole company one Typeform connector next to your other tools, with each person’s own login, access per group and a log of every call.

No. The connector only reads forms, questions and responses, and never asks Typeform for write access. Nothing is created, changed or deleted. If you want it to do more, we can extend it for you.

Yes. Deployed OS is your company’s own MCP, so the same Typeform connection works in Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot. People keep the assistant they prefer.

Yes. The admin enters the data centre when adding the app: eu, or eu2 for accounts on typeform.eu. Responses are only served from the account’s own data centre, so it matters. Deployed itself is an EU company, and you choose where your data is stored, down to the city.

Responses from the last half hour may not be available yet. The AI says so when it reports on recent answers, and tells you how many responses it read out of the total.

It depends on the size of your team. Get in touch and we will walk you through it.
