QuickBooks MCP: connect QuickBooks to Claude and ChatGPT
Ask Claude or ChatGPT which customers have overdue invoices, which bills fall due next week or how this quarter’s profit compares with the last. The answer comes straight from QuickBooks Online.
Your admins decide which groups get QuickBooks, every call is logged with the person who asked, and the AI only reads. We set it up for your company next to your other systems.

What your team can do with QuickBooks in Claude and ChatGPT
What is overdue, by customer
The month in plain language
Bills before they fall due
Know the customer before the call
Ask it like this
“Which customers have invoices more than 30 days overdue in QuickBooks?”
“What has Harbour Lane Studio bought from us this year, and what is still open?”
“Show the profit and loss for last quarter next to the quarter before.”
“Which vendor bills fall due next week, and what do they add up to?”
“What is the open balance on Kestrel Joinery’s account?”
“Draft a friendly reminder to Ashby & Holt about invoice 1047. I will send it myself.”
What we build for QuickBooks
Deployed OS has no ready QuickBooks connector yet. We build it for your company when you start, on QuickBooks’s own API, with the same rules as every other connector: each person’s own login, access decided by group, every call logged.
- Customers and invoices
- Customers, and invoices with their lines, amounts, open balance and due dates.
- Payments received
- Customer payments and which invoices they were applied to.
- Vendors and bills
- Vendors, and bills with amounts and due dates.
- Products and services
- The items you sell and buy, with their prices.
- Reports
- Profit and loss, balance sheet, and aged receivables and payables for the period you ask about.
Who sees what
- Read-only
- The connector reads. It does not create invoices, record payments or change a record.
- Your company decides who gets it
- Admins choose which groups get QuickBooks in Deployed OS. A group without access never sees the connector.
- Every call logged
- Who asked, what was read and when. Deployed OS keeps the log, and it can be exported.

QuickBooks’s own MCP server or Deployed OS?
Intuit publishes its own QuickBooks Online MCP Server as open source. It is built for developers: it runs locally on one machine, connects to one QuickBooks company at a time, and has tools that read and write. Intuit also has a QuickBooks connector in Claude and a plugin in ChatGPT that each person connects with their Intuit account, and since July 2026 they can create and send invoices too. If QuickBooks is the only system your team wants in its AI tool, those are a good fit.
Deployed OS is for when QuickBooks is one system among several. It sits next to your CRM, email and other tools in one company connection, admins decide which groups get each system, every call is logged in one place, and the same rules apply in Claude and ChatGPT, next to your company’s skills and guardrails.
