Sage Intacct MCP: connect Sage Intacct to Claude and ChatGPT
Ask Claude or ChatGPT which vendor bills are due this week, which customers are past due or what a department spent against its accounts last month. The answer comes straight from Sage Intacct, without running a report first.
We build the connector for your company on Sage’s own REST API. Each person signs in with their own Sage Intacct user, so the AI works within that user’s roles and permissions, and it only reads.

What we build for Sage Intacct
Deployed OS has no ready Sage Intacct connector yet. We build it for your company when you start, on Sage Intacct’s own API, with the same rules as every other connector: each person’s own login, access decided by group, every call logged.
- Accounts payable
- Vendors and vendor bills with their lines, amounts, due dates and payment status.
- Accounts receivable
- Customers and customer invoices with their lines, amounts, due dates and what is still open.
- General ledger
- Accounts, balances and journal entries per period, read with your Intacct dimensions such as department, location and project.
- Cash management
- Bank and cash accounts, and the payments and deposits recorded against them.
- Company-specific fields
- The custom fields and dimensions your company uses, so the answers match how you report.
Who sees what
- Read-only
- The connector reads. It does not create bills, post journal entries or approve payments. We only build write actions if you ask for them.
- Each person’s own Sage Intacct user
- Everyone signs in to Sage Intacct as themselves through OAuth. Intacct applies that user’s roles and permissions to every call, so someone who cannot see payroll accounts in Intacct does not see them through the AI either.
- Your company decides who gets it
- Admins choose which groups get Sage Intacct in Deployed OS. A group without access never sees the connector.
- Every call logged
- Who asked, what was read and when. Deployed OS keeps the log, and it can be exported.

Sage Intacct’s own MCP server or Deployed OS?
Sage has its own Sage Intacct MCP Server, the centre of the Sage Intacct AI Gateway launched in late 2025 and built on the same REST API. Sage describes it as read-only and governed by Intacct roles and permissions, and it works with AI tools that support MCP. If Sage Intacct is the only system your team wants in its AI tool, it is a good place to start.
Deployed OS is for when Sage Intacct is one system among several, or when you need more than it offers. We can build write actions it does not have, such as drafting a bill for review, and tools for your own dimensions and custom fields. It sits next to your CRM, payroll and other tools in one company connection, admins decide which groups get each system, every call is logged in one place, and the same rules apply in Claude and ChatGPT.
Sage Intacct MCP: common questions
Yes. Sage offers the Sage Intacct MCP Server as part of its AI Gateway. It is read-only and follows Intacct roles and permissions. Deployed OS adds Sage Intacct to one company connection with your other systems, with access per group, one log and tools built for your company.
No. The connector reads vendors, bills, customers, invoices, the general ledger and cash. It does not create or post anything, and we only build write actions if you ask for them.
Yes. Everyone signs in as their own Sage Intacct user, and Intacct checks every call against that user’s roles and permissions. The AI cannot see more than the person could in Intacct.
Not for the connector we build. The older XML Web Services API uses a sender ID issued by Sage together with a company login. We build on the REST API, which uses OAuth 2.0 instead.
Deployed is an EU company and fully GDPR compliant, and you choose where your data is stored, down to the city. Sage Intacct data is fetched when someone asks for it.
