Keap MCP: connect Keap to Claude and ChatGPT
Ask Claude or ChatGPT what was said the last time you spoke to Tom Hargreaves, which tags he has or which follow-ups you have due this week. The answer comes straight from Keap, with a link to each contact.
With Deployed OS everyone connects with their own Keap login, so the AI sees what their Keap role lets them see. The only things it writes are a note on a contact and a task for yourself, when you ask for one. Nothing is sent to contacts, no tag is applied and no automation starts.

Ask it like this
“What follow-ups do I have in Keap this week, soonest first?”
“Find Tom Hargreaves and summarise his latest notes, tags and open tasks.”
“Which opportunities do I have, and what is the next action on each?”
“Add a note to Sara Ekholm: wants to move her sessions to Thursdays from November.”
“Create a task for me to call Tom Hargreaves back on Friday about the renewal.”
“Which tags does Sara Ekholm have, and when did we last add a note?”
What the Keap MCP connector does today
- Reads
keap_search_contactsSearch the contacts you can see by the start of a first or last name, or both, or of an email address. Up to 25, with their ids and links.
- Reads
keap_search_companiesSearch the companies you can see by the start of their name. Up to 25, with their ids.
- Reads
keap_get_contactRead one contact: their details and tags, latest 10 notes, open tasks soonest due first and opportunities, with their link.
- Reads
keap_list_tasksList your own open tasks, soonest due first and those without a due date last, each with its contact and link.
- Reads
keap_list_opportunitiesList opportunities: your own, or one contact’s. The deals in Keap Pro and Max pipelines are not available here.
- Writes
keap_create_noteAdd a note to one contact, as you, once you have confirmed the text. Nobody is notified, and nothing else on the contact changes.
- Writes
keap_create_taskCreate a task for yourself, never anyone else, with a due date and optionally about one contact, once you have confirmed the text. No reminder is set.

Who sees what
- Reads, plus notes and your own tasks
- The connector searches and reads contacts and companies, with tags, notes, tasks and opportunities, and can add a note to a contact or a task for yourself. It cannot edit a contact, apply a tag, send an email or start an automation.
- Each person’s own rights
- Everyone connects their own Keap login, so their Keap role decides what the AI sees. Contacts someone can’t see in Keap stay hidden from the AI as well.
- Writes only with Edit access
- Keap gives an app one full-access permission, so Deployed OS decides what the AI is offered: admins choose which groups get Keap, and only groups with Edit access can add notes and tasks. Each one is written as the person asking, after they confirm the text.
- Every call logged
- Who asked, which connector, when. Deployed OS shows reads and writes per connector and per person, and the log can be exported.

Keap MCP: common questions
There are community-built Keap MCP servers that a developer can run for one person. Deployed OS gives your whole company one connection for Keap and your other tools, with each person’s own login, access per group and a log of every call.
Two things: it can add a note to a contact and create a task for yourself, when you ask and confirm the text. Nothing is sent to contacts, no tag is applied and no automation starts. Keap may email you about the new task if you are not signed in to Keap. If you want it to do more, for example apply tags, we can extend it for you.
Your admin sets up Keap in Deployed OS once. You add your company’s Deployed OS connection in Claude, sign in to Keap with your own login and start asking. The same connection works in ChatGPT and Copilot.
Only if they can in Keap. The AI uses each person’s own Keap login, so the permissions of their Keap role apply as they are.
Not today. The connector reads Keap opportunities, the ones Keap Max Classic uses, but not the deals in Keap Pro and Max pipelines. If you need them, we can extend it for you.
Deployed is an EU company and fully GDPR compliant, and you choose where your data is stored, down to the city. Keap data is fetched when someone asks for it.
