Pipedrive MCP: connect Pipedrive to Claude and ChatGPT

Ask Claude or ChatGPT which deals in the proposal stage haven’t moved in two weeks, what was said on the last call with Holmberg Logistics or what you have on today. The answer comes straight from Pipedrive, with a link to each deal.

This is Pipedrive AI the way a sales team needs it: every rep connects with their own Pipedrive login. The AI sees the deals they can see, and the only thing it writes is a note, when you ask for one.

In practice

What your team can do with Pipedrive in Claude and ChatGPT

Sales

Prep in the minute before you dial

The person, their organisation, open deals, the latest notes and what’s planned next. One question instead of five tabs.
Sales managers

Pipeline review without the screen share

Open deals per stage and owner, with value and when they last changed. Ready before the Monday meeting, so the meeting is about decisions.
Account executives

Log the call in one sentence

Say what happened and the AI adds it as a note on the right deal, once you’ve confirmed the text. The CRM stays current without the evening catch-up.
Management

Won and lost, in plain words

Deals won and lost this month with value and organisation, summarised per pipeline. Ask why, and the notes on each deal are right there.
Examples

Ask it like this

  • “What do I have on today, and which of those calls are about open deals?”

  • “Summarise the deal with Holmberg Logistics: stage, value, latest notes and next activity.”

  • “Which open deals in the Enterprise pipeline haven’t changed in the last 14 days?”

  • “Add a note to deal 482: spoke to Maria, they want a revised quote by Friday.”

  • “List the deals we lost this quarter, with value and organisation.”

  • “Find Jonas at Nordvik AB and give me his phone number and his open deals.”

The connector

What the Pipedrive MCP connector does today

  • Readspipedrive_search

Search the deals, people and organisations you can see by a name, company or email address, with a link to each. Deals come with value, status, stage, person and organisation.

  • Readspipedrive_list_deals

List deals, most recently changed first: open, won or lost, only your own, or those of one person, organisation, pipeline or stage. With value, stage and a link.

  • Readspipedrive_get_deal

Read one deal: value, status, stage, person, organisation, dates, its latest notes and its activities.

  • Readspipedrive_get_person

Read one person: email addresses, phone numbers, organisation and their latest deals.

  • Readspipedrive_list_activities

List calls, meetings and tasks: what’s still to do, soonest first, or what’s done, latest first. Your own unless you ask for everyone’s, or those of one deal or person.

  • Writespipedrive_create_note

Add a plain-text note to one deal, person or organisation, as you. Nobody is mentioned or notified, and nothing else changes.

Security

Who sees what

Reads, plus notes
The connector reads deals, people, organisations and activities, and can add a note. It cannot move, edit or close a deal, and it creates no activities.
Each rep’s own rights
Everyone connects their own Pipedrive login. Deals a rep can’t see in Pipedrive stay hidden from the AI as well.
Notes only with Edit access
Admins choose which groups get Pipedrive, and only groups with Edit access can add notes. Each note is written as the person asking, after they confirm the text.
Every call logged
Who asked, which connector, when. Deployed OS shows reads and writes per connector and per person, and the log can be exported.
Setup

Set up the Pipedrive connector in three steps

01
An admin creates a private app in Pipedrive’s Developer Hub with read access to contacts, activities and search, and full access to deals so notes can be added. Your company owns the app, not us.
02
The admin sets the app live, adds its client ID, client secret and your Pipedrive address (such as acme.pipedrive.com) to Deployed OS, and chooses which groups get Pipedrive.
03
Each person connects with their own Pipedrive login. From then on they just ask.
Compared

Pipedrive’s own MCP server or Deployed OS?

Pipedrive launched its own hosted MCP server in June 2026, still marked beta. It is open to every Pipedrive plan, signs in with OAuth, works within your own Pipedrive permissions and records its actions in Pipedrive’s change log. It can read and update records, and for one person who wants Pipedrive in Claude or ChatGPT it is a good fit.

Deployed OS is for when the whole company should use it. One company connection for Pipedrive and all your other tools, with each rep on their own login, admins choosing which groups get Pipedrive, and a log of every call in one place. The same connection works in Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot, next to your company’s skills and guardrails.

Questions

Pipedrive MCP: common questions

Yes. Pipedrive has its own MCP server, and it suits one person well. Deployed OS gives the whole company one connection for Pipedrive and your other tools, with each person’s own login, access per group and a log of every call.

Only one thing: it can add a plain-text note to a deal, person or organisation, when you ask and confirm the text. Nobody is notified, and no deal is moved, edited or closed. If you want it to do more, for example create activities, we can extend it for you.

Your admin sets up Pipedrive in Deployed OS once. You add your company’s Deployed OS connection in Claude, sign in to Pipedrive with your own login and start asking. The same connection works in ChatGPT and Copilot.

Only if they can in Pipedrive. The AI uses each person’s own Pipedrive login, so the visibility and permissions you have set in Pipedrive apply as they are.

Deployed is an EU company and fully GDPR compliant, and you choose where your data is stored, down to the city. Pipedrive data is fetched when someone asks for it.

It depends on the size of your team. Get in touch and we will walk you through it.
