Zoho CRM MCP: connect Zoho CRM to Claude and ChatGPT
Ask Claude or ChatGPT what the latest notes on Lindqvist Interiör say, which of your deals changed this week or which tasks you have due before Friday. The answer comes straight from Zoho CRM, with a link to each lead, contact, account and deal.
Deployed OS is a Zoho MCP connection built for the whole company: every rep connects with their own Zoho login, so the AI sees the records their Zoho CRM profile and role let them see. The only things it writes are a note on a record and a task for yourself, when you ask for one.

What the Zoho CRM MCP connector does today
- Reads
zoho_searchSearch the leads, contacts, accounts and deals you can see by words, or leads and contacts by an email address. Up to 25, with their ids and links, and it says when there are more.
- Reads
zoho_list_recordsList the leads, contacts, accounts or deals you can see, latest change first, or only your own. Up to 50, with their links.
- Reads
zoho_get_recordRead one lead, contact, account or deal: its values and other fields, its latest 10 notes, its next 20 open tasks, calls and meetings, and its link.
- Reads
zoho_list_tasksList your own open tasks, soonest due first and those without a due date last, each with the lead, contact, account or deal it is about and its link.
- Writes
zoho_create_noteAdd a note to one lead, contact, account or deal, as you, once you have confirmed the text. Nobody is mentioned, and nothing else on the record changes.
- Writes
zoho_create_taskCreate a task that you own, never anyone else, optionally about one lead, contact, account or deal and with a due date, once you have confirmed the text. Nobody is notified.
Need it to do more? We extend connectors for the companies that use them.
Who sees what
- Reads, plus notes and your own tasks
- The connector searches and reads leads, contacts, accounts and deals, with their notes and open activities, and can add a note or a task for yourself. It cannot edit, convert or close a record, and no workflow, approval or blueprint runs for a task it creates.
- Each rep’s own rights
- Everyone connects their own Zoho login, so their Zoho CRM profile and role decide what the AI sees. Records a rep can’t open in Zoho CRM stay hidden from the AI as well.
- Writes only with Edit access
- Admins choose which groups get Zoho CRM, and only groups with Edit access can add notes and tasks. Each one is written as the person asking, after they confirm the text, and nobody is mentioned or notified.
- Every call logged
- Who asked, which connector, when. Deployed OS shows reads and writes per connector and per person, and the log can be exported.

Zoho CRM’s own MCP server or Deployed OS?
Zoho runs its own MCP servers. Zoho CRM has four pre-built ones, hosted by Zoho, for data insights, data operations, module customisation and workflow automation, and Zoho MCP lets you build a server from tools across Zoho’s apps. You add one to an AI tool such as Claude, sign in with OAuth, and it works within your own Zoho CRM permissions. For one person, or an admin who wants to work on modules and workflows from an AI tool, it is a good fit.
Deployed OS is for when the whole company should use it. One company connection for Zoho CRM and all your other tools, with each rep on their own login, admins choosing which groups get Zoho CRM and who may write, and a log of every call in one place. The same connection works in Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot, next to your company’s skills and guardrails.
Zoho CRM MCP: common questions
Yes. Zoho has its own MCP servers for Zoho CRM, and they suit one person well. Deployed OS gives the whole company one connection for Zoho CRM and your other tools, with each person’s own login, access per group and a log of every call.
Two things: it can add a note to a lead, contact, account or deal, and create a task that you own, when you ask and confirm the text. Nobody is mentioned or notified, and no record is edited, converted or closed. If you want it to do more, for example move a deal to the next stage, we can extend it for you.
Your admin sets up Zoho CRM in Deployed OS once. You add your company’s Deployed OS connection in Claude, sign in to Zoho with your own login and start asking. The same connection works in ChatGPT and Copilot.
Only if they can in Zoho CRM. The AI uses each person’s own Zoho login, so the profiles, roles and data sharing you have set in Zoho CRM apply as they are.
Yes. The admin enters your data centre when setting it up, and the client is made in that data centre’s API console. The US, EU, India, Australia, Japan, Canada, Saudi Arabia and China data centres are supported.
Deployed is an EU company and fully GDPR compliant, and you choose where your data is stored, down to the city. Zoho CRM data is fetched when someone asks for it.
