Salesloft MCP: connect Salesloft to Claude and ChatGPT
Ask Claude or ChatGPT which cadence Erik Lund at Holmberg Logistics is on, how the last calls with him went or which tasks you have due this week. The answer comes straight from Salesloft, with a link to each person and account.
With Deployed OS every rep connects with their own Salesloft login. The AI works within that rep’s Salesloft role, and the only things it writes are a note or a task, when you ask for one.

What the Salesloft MCP connector does today
- Reads
salesloft_find_peopleFinds the Salesloft people you can see by email address, by first and last name together, or by account: up to 25, with their ids and links. Salesloft has no word search.
- Reads
salesloft_find_accountsFinds the Salesloft accounts you can see by the start of their name (at least three letters) or their domain: up to 25, with their ids and links.
- Reads
salesloft_get_personReads one person: their details, latest 10 notes and calls, recent emails (when and how, not what was written) and the cadences they are on now, with their link.
- Reads
salesloft_get_accountReads one account: its details, latest 10 notes and up to 25 of its people, with their links.
- Reads
salesloft_list_tasksLists your own open Salesloft tasks, soonest due first, each with the person it is for and their link. Cadence steps are not counted as tasks here.
- Writes
salesloft_create_noteAdds a note to one person or account, as you, once you have confirmed the text. The note stays in Salesloft and is not copied to your CRM, and no person is notified.
- Writes
salesloft_create_taskCreates a task on one person with a due date, owned by you and never anyone else, once you have confirmed the text. Nothing is sent or dialled until you do the task.

Who sees what
- Reads, plus notes and tasks
- The connector reads people, accounts, notes, calls, email activity, current cadences and your own open tasks, and can add a note or a task. It cannot edit a person, send an email, dial or put anyone on a cadence.
- Each rep’s own rights
- Everyone connects their own Salesloft login, so the AI can only do what that person’s Salesloft role allows. Emails come as activity only: when, to whom, opened or answered, never the subject or the text.
- Writes only with Edit access
- Admins choose which groups get Salesloft, and only groups with Edit access can add notes and tasks. Each one is written as the person asking, after they confirm the text, and a task is always their own.
- Every call logged
- Who asked, which connector, when. Deployed OS shows reads and writes per connector and per person, and the log can be exported.

Salesloft’s own MCP server or Deployed OS?
Salesloft has its own MCP server, still in beta. It is included for teams on one of Salesloft’s Agent packages, an admin turns it on for the team, and each person signs in with their own Salesloft credentials. It reads accounts, people, opportunities and recorded conversations within Salesloft’s permissions, works in Claude and ChatGPT, and writes nothing. For a sales team that wants Salesloft alone in its AI tool, it is a good fit.
Deployed OS is for when the whole company should use it. Salesloft is one connection next to your CRM and your other tools, each rep is on their own login, admins choose which groups get Salesloft and who may add notes and tasks, and every call is logged in one place. The same connection works in Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot, next to your company’s skills and guardrails.
Salesloft MCP: common questions
Yes. Salesloft has its own MCP server, in beta and read-only, for teams on one of its Agent packages. Deployed OS gives the whole company one connection for Salesloft and your other tools, with each person’s own login, access per group and a log of every call.
Two things, when you ask and confirm the text: it can add a note to a person or account, and create a task on a person, owned by you. The note stays in Salesloft and is not copied to your CRM, and nobody is notified. Nothing is sent or dialled, nobody is put on a cadence and no record is edited. If you need more, we can extend it for you.
Your admin sets up Salesloft in Deployed OS once. You add your company’s Deployed OS connection in Claude, sign in to Salesloft with your own login and start asking. The same connection works in ChatGPT and Copilot.
No. The AI sees email activity: when an email went out, to whom, and whether it was opened, clicked or answered, but never the subject or the text. Calls come with direction, duration, outcome and who made them, and recordings are never fetched.
Only if they can in Salesloft. The AI uses each person’s own Salesloft login, so the roles and permissions you have set in Salesloft apply as they are.
Deployed is an EU company and fully GDPR compliant, and you choose where your data is stored, down to the city. Salesloft data is fetched when someone asks for it.
